KMTX - Your Award Winning Station!

  

Barry McNamera and Orlinda Worthington (pictured center) won a total of four E.B.Craney awards for KMTX radio, for excellence in broadcasting.  Barry McNamara took first place in the Commercial Radio News Enterprise category for his reporting on the National Guard. Orlinda Worthington won first in the state for Radio Program of the Year for "Tuesdays at Ten," which airs on KMTX 105.3 FM.  Worthington was also runner up in two additional categories: Radio Commercial of the Year and Radio News Enterprise.

KMTX, home to Star Station 105 FM and MAX 950 AM, competed with radio stations from around the state.  The EB Awards are named in memory of Montana broadcast pioneer Ed Craney.  They recognize excellence in local news, production, promotion and public service.  The awards are presented annually during the Montana Broadcasters Association convention, which was held June 26 at Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish.

 



Relay for Life
