KMTX - Your Award Winning Station!
KMTX brought home two E.B. Craney awards at the 2011 Montana Broadcasters Association Awards, held June 25th in Big Sky. Paul Stark won second place in the radio promotion catagory for a series of ads for Dinners Done Right, and Orlinda Worthington won first place in the news catagory for a story on the Helz Belles roller derby team.
KMTX, home to Star Station 105 FM and MAX 950 AM, competed with radio stations from around the state. E.B.Craney awards are for excellence in broadcasting; named in memory of Montana broadcast pioneer Ed Craney. They recognize excellence in local news, production, promotion and public service.
